Why it's a stocking hit

A remote-control stunt car with big foam tyres that drives on floors, grass and water. Double-sided, so a flip is just a new direction. Rechargeable. Yellow.

Thought he'd seen every RC car

My 11-year-old was unimpressed by RC cars. Then this one flipped and drove into the pool. He was hooked.

A whole summer afternoon

Took it to the lake. The kids didn't come back for hours. Easiest gift I ever picked.

Worked in the snow

Gave at Christmas and he took it straight outside into the snow. It worked. He was thrilled.

Built to be crashed

My son breaks everything. This one survives. He's thrown it off the deck, into the pool, down the stairs. Still going. He loves it.

Dad and son fought over the remote

Gave it to my brother and his son. They spent the whole afternoon at the lake fighting over who gets to drive it into the water. Best family moment.
